1. The service and its operator

ChAPPover is a communication service operated by Colle Vento Group S.r.l.. Depending on the available features, it allows management of identity and Rooms, messages, calls, file transfers, links between devices and access from the Web version.

2. Minimum age and identity

The service is intended for people aged at least 18. Users must provide information that is not misleading, look after their device and protect the Recovery Kit, which allows the identity and unique nickname to be recovered. The phone number is optional and does not replace the Recovery Kit.

3. Lawful and respectful use

It is forbidden to use ChAPPover for threats, harassment, fraud, breaches of confidentiality, unauthorised disclosure of data, unlawful content, exploitation or abuse of minors and activities that compromise the security of the service. The community guidelines supplement these terms.

4. Content, calls and direct connections

Users are responsible for the content they choose to send and must hold the necessary rights. Messages and files may be transferred directly between devices: recipients may keep copies. ChAPPover cannot remotely delete content already exported or stored on other people's devices.

5. External services and networks

Communications may use technical network, map and notification services. Connections to third-party IRC servers are optional and are also subject to the rules of their respective operators. See the privacy policy for the processing of personal data.

6. Reports and moderation

You can report improper conduct to [email protected]. To protect users and the service, in accordance with applicable law, proportionate measures may be taken such as access restrictions, blocking devices or revoking authorisations. Reports are assessed on the basis of the information available.

7. Disconnection and deletion

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your profile as described on the Account deletion page. Uninstalling alone does not amount to deleting data from the service's systems. Some information may be retained for the purposes and periods described in the Privacy policy.

8. Availability and technical limitations

P2P connectivity depends on the network, devices, permissions and the availability of supporting systems. A continuous connection or a specific transfer speed is not guaranteed. Users should keep their own copies of important files. The mandatory rights and guarantees granted to consumers by law remain unaffected.

9. Contact, complaints and changes

For support and reports: [email protected]. For general information and privacy: [email protected]. Substantial changes to the terms will be communicated by appropriate means. Relevant Italian and European law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory protections for consumers in their country of habitual residence.
