1. Respect people and privacy
Share only content you are lawfully entitled to transmit and respect the people in the Rooms. Do not disclose other people's private data without authorisation.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Violence, threats, hate speech, harassment, stalking and bullying.
- Sexual abuse, exploitation of minors, grooming or child sexual abuse material.
- Fraud, identity theft, attempts at unauthorised access and distribution of malware.
- Publishing other people's personal data without a valid legal basis or consent.
- Sharing unlawful content or infringing the rights of others.
3. How to report a problem
Write to [email protected] with a description of what happened, the Room involved if any, and only the information strictly needed to review the report. Do not send illegal material unless necessary: describe it and ask for instructions.
In the Android version of chAPP_over you can report users, Rooms and individual messages, including for “Child safety”. You can also block a contact. Reports contain only the information supplied by the user and the selected evidence, without automatically uploading the complete history of P2P communications.
4. Review and actions
Reports are reviewed according to applicable rules and the seriousness of the case. Actions such as blocks, revocations, technically possible removals or notifications to the competent authorities may be necessary, where provided for by law.
In situations of immediate danger, contact emergency services or the competent authorities. See also the Child safety page.
